Ahoy there.

Soace in an apartment 16' x 14' is a premium. After many years of thought I think I'll sell my 1/35 scale Italeri PT-596 kit. It is unstarted but some parts are off the parts trees. Whar do you fellows consider to be a fair price for this kit?

If I don't use them on my Lindberg boats I'll have an unstarted set of Italeir PT boat crew figures to throw in as a gift to the purchaser.

I just hope that shipping isn't astromnomical.

So again, what's considered a fair price for the Italeri PT-596 kit if it's second hand but unstarted?

Thanks and cheers from Peter

That's a good question. I have seen them sell for anywhere from $150.00 to $199.00 on Ebay. Try not to start the kit at the high price on Ebay, they tend not to sell. I would say a fair price for the kit and the figures would be $175.00 to give someone a deal. Again you could start the auction at $5.00 and have a reserve of $175.00, or run the auction with no reserve and see how you do. You could also use the buy it now feature of ebay and sell it at $175.00, or best offer. Your choice..............

Thanks Frank.

If I sell this kit, most likely the way things are, then I'll just seta firm price and possibly sell it on Kijiji but definitely *NOT* on Evil Bay. That's why I was wondering what a fair price for the kit is.

If any of the members, *ESPECIALLY VETERANS OF PT BOATS* want the kit I'll do my absolute best to give them a fair price including the shipping from Ontario, Canada.

Cheers from Peter
