Well . . . . Al's gone and done it again. Yep, he's been ignoring his girlfriend to scan PT boat documents and now he has the audacity to make them available for a moderate price. Yes you heard me right, a moderate cost. He suggests at the very maximum they should cost $0.00 each. Yes, as you can see, he's trying to get rich off us. So if you want a copy of one or all three documents it will cost you nothing, absolutely nothing. Can you believe it!
Recently Al scanned three documents (Instruction Manual for U.S. Navy Motor Torpedo Boats PT 625 Class, Operating Manual for Higgins 78 FT. Motor Torpedo Boats, and Parts Catalog Motor Torpedo Boats - Higgins Type) and sent me the scans to enhance and to publish as .PDF files. They are complete now and uploaded to my site. They are partially searchable in Adobe Acrobat Reader, the searchability depends on how well each page OCR'd in Acrobat. With age and the WWII Navy typing equipment, it is hard to efficiently scan and ocr (optical character recognition) the document. At the very least you have an excellent viewing source of PT boat data.
Thanks Al.

Kudos to Don Shannon. He was kind enough to lend them to me last year.

Wow, you guys are the best. Thank you so very much for the selfless effort you put in to increase our knowledge of PT boats. I really enjoy these old manuals as I know many others do.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have some reading to do.

Wow Dick,
This is awesome. I am going to print them and keep them on the boat for us to use in restoration and operations aboard PT658. These are really great sources of information and photos. Thank you Al Ross and Don Shannon as well! Jerry

Al and Dick you guys are the TOPs, thanks for letting us see and share the documents. Your hard work and time you put into these programs for our benefit are greatly appreciated by at least me. I'm know Al and Dick would love to get his hands on more documents and make them available to us. They just need the documents. Sorry, I didn't mean to leave out Don Shannon, thanks Don. it's great they make them downlow rather then having to just read on the internet.
Thanks
