Hey Will,
Queen Mary was similar, she had 4 screws, two 3 bladed screws outboard and two 4 bladed screws inboard. You can see them in and around LA still. One 3 blade is still attached to the ship, one 3 blade is at the LA Maritime Museum in San Pedro and both 4 blades are at the Cruise Ship Terminal in Long Beach outside on display. Jerry

Boy, oh boy --
I could really go off on how there's been all this unwarranted attention over the years about this "Titanic" cruise ship, and about it hitting an iceberg and then sinking , and all those people getting killed, and everyone being so interested about this one ship, and the search to find it, and trying to figure out how and where it sank, and what it looked like, when there have been so many other similar big cruise ships, in so many other areas of the world's oceans, with so many other crewmembers on them --- but I won't
Some areas, or events (or similar boats), in history capture and hold our interest a little more so than others, even though are many other areas, or events, (or similar boats) that may have been more important, successful, or meaningful.
It seems to me, and always has, that a concentration of interest in, and detailed examination and research of those singular and specific areas, events, or similar boats (ships) -- like the Titanic -- does absolutely nothing to take away from the importance, success, or meaning of all the other areas, events (or similar boats), or the people involved with them.
Know what I mean?

Hey Drew are you trying to say the entire world does not revolve around the PT109? Please do not shatter my entire world view! Arent we supposed to only discuss the PT109 at all possible times? Even if it is barely related? Is not the name of this website and discussion board called "The PT109 Message Board"? Wasnt the PT109 in some way involved with the sinking of the Titanic? I think maybe the Kennedy's were involved somehow, surely. What will I do with all of my spare time NOW? I really like yanking this chain. Har har har.....Jerry

If you use 1 for A, 2 for B, etc., "Titanic" and "JFK" adds up to 109.
