We buried my Uncle. Anthony C. Aversa, at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. He served as a Bosuns Mate 1/c on the USS DECATUR DD 341, during WWII. Some time ago, roughly three years, I wanted to have a plaque made to honor the PT BOAT VETERANS as people came into the Chapel for services. I had Steve Tuhey, who used to visit this site, design and make the plaque. Today was the first time that I had the chance to snap a photo of the plaque. The plaque takes it's place along the walls of the Chapel with many others. I was very happy to see it at the service.

The plaque is really nice. Our sympathies to you and yours on the loss of your Uncle Tony.
