Dear sirs, I have enough data to construct two items for my model, but alas there is no details for their being secured during ops @ sea & high manoeuvering conditions would require secure stowage.
The 1st is the boat hook. It was stowed below the port holes on the outer bulkhead of the stbd side of the day cabin. I need to know how it was secured in place.
The second item is a pair of traning cranks used to deflect the fwd end of the torpedo tubes. I understand teem to have been stowed on the outer deck head of the fwd section of the daY CABIN. aGAIN i HAVE NO DETAILS OF HOW THEY WERE HELD IN PLACE SECURELY.Any ops would require positive security to prevent their loss overboard.
Can any one give me any help here please. Cheers, B.J.

They carried two, one on either side of the day cabin. You can see this on the general arrangement drawings and in photos.
