I received my copy today. Very pleased and surprised to see my 109 model under construction. I did see that I received credit for a picture that I should not have. I may have posted the picture making a point I've become notorious for, but the picture of PT-109 on page 26 belongs to PT King, Gene Kirkland. One of my favorite sites.

Thanks for writing this book Victor. I found new photos and information which made it very worth while. I'm looking forward to spending lots of nights looking through it over and over again as I've done with Volume 1.

Hi Vic . . .

This is really, did I say really, I mean really late. But I like your book very much. I know you worried and kept doubting how it was going to turnout and at times got very depressed. But guest what, it still turned out to be a very nice book and a book to be proud of. Congratulations!

Most of you might not realize the battles Vic took on, he worked very hard to make his new book a prize. Especially after all his fighting with the publisher. It's sad they seldom listened and he was just at their mercy. However, a few instances mainly photo-size issues weren't always the publisher’s fault. Some of the images sent to him had their resolution and size dummied. Digital photos can NEVER be increased in size and resolution, only decreased (for professional publishing). Many who have these miracle photo programs such as Photoshop believe they can just simply change the resolution and photo size up, and on their computer screen it looks pretty darn good. However the computer monitor only displays 72 dpi images, and at this limited resolution they always look good. Commercial printers needs true 400 dpi images at full size to print properly, after all these are professionally published books, not the trending present day "print-on-demand". Because of this, many photos were kept small to keep the images from "Blowing-out" and looking very unattractive. Of course there were other battles, a few he won.

Vic, rest assured the book is very nice - I hope they are selling like pancakes, or something like that meaning, many, many books flying off the shelf.

All the best, and great job,
Dick . . .
