Several original WW2 era adverts refer to an action where two PTs are jumped by 30 Japanese planes... 4 planes are shot down, and the rest skeedaddle.
I assume this refers to a real action... any details?
Thanks,

Pat;
I believe this refers to the action of PT 190(Ed Farley's Jack of Diamonds) and PT 191(Rumsey Ewing's Bambi)?
take care,

Ted is correct. There are several written mentions of the encounter (and I believe a painting of the action).

Steve,
You have sharp eyes. You are right about the cover of my vol. 1 book. The detail of
this action was described inside.
