Someone recently mentioned the new Fine Models 1:350-scale model kit of the Amagiri and PT 109 on the Message Board. Here's a photo of the completed kit (or kits).

Thanks for posting that Drew. It appears to be a fine looking and accurate kit of the IJN Amagiri. The 109 model leaves a little to be desired. White Ensign Models makes a reasonable 109 model in the same scale if you want a better alternative.
This kit is expensive as injected molded kits go. Here in the States it will cost over a $100 delivered. Then if you wanted to detail it up there are 3 planned photo etch sets for this kit. You could be easily looking at a couple hundred dollars to complete her.
Still this would make for an interesting diorama and subject piece. I'm tempted but I don't think I'll pull the trigger on this one. But we'll see...

I would love to have this made into a Diorama for my Exhibit, but the cost is fairly high for such a small model. In 1/72 scale it would be pretty long, but still a great Diorama. OH STAN.............................................
