Hello,
I've just joined the message board and I'd like to know if anyone can identify the camouflage scheme in a photo, but can't figure out how to post a photo.
I searched the forum, but the password for the photobucket site didn't work.
Thanks,
Richard

Based on photographic evidence, RON 15 boats carried a variety of official and unofficial schemes while in the Med. Given what little I can see of the scheme in question, I doubt that it was a standard Measure.

Al,
You must have seen the picture on your coastal forces yahoo group. Have you seen that pattern on other boats?
Can you tell me how to post pictures here so that others can see it?
Thanks,
Richard

I just checked out Photobucket site , the user name and password is working just fine. You must be typing something wrong.
1.) Upload your photos to photbucket or anyplace that will provide you with an image link or url.
2.) In the case of Photobucket, copy the IMG code under the photos thumb nail.
3.) Place the code link (text) into the message board - BUT - change the starting IMG and ending IMG in the code to image. All IMG tags MUST be changed to the spelled-out version, image tags.
If you put a photo on a website copy the actual photo's URL and paste it into the message board, however add the starting image tag in square brackets immediately in front of the URL. Then add the ending /image tag in square brackets immediately after the URL.

Richard;
As Al suggested, RON 15 boats carried a variety of schemes, Once the reached Bizerte the boats had several different patterns within the RON. Example: 207 and 208 were a variation of the adapter pattern( Zebra) camoflage. 211 was overall "Deck Gray" , a dark blue gray. Several were "Navy Gray" and medium blue gray, with deck gray decks. You can see the different patterns if you look in my Photobucket file. RON 22 was similar. It must also be remembered that these boats were repainted every 6-8 months. so the same boat had different schemes at different times.
Take care,
