Ok guys hold on to your hats. You can buy an original PT BOAT for $150,000 in New Jersey. She just went up for sale on EBAY and she looks awesome. She has been going through a restoration to look like PT-109. Sorry, I was so excited, I forgot to get the Ebay item number. TAKE A LOOK. Why the hell did I not hit the lottery....................

Frank;
Too bad he doesn't have more photos, especially showing below deck conditions. For the work that has already been done, and the excellent condition this boat was kept in by the same family for over 40 years, this is actually a very reasonable price. Wish I had $150,000 I could spare, she would be on her way to Virginia Beach next week.
Take care,
TED

Jimmy, That's a steal at 125K for the History you would be getting. Remember this was originally PT-486, and I do know that the hull was kept in wonderful condition when she was being used as a Sightseeing boat. Ted, your right, the owners should have listed many more photos then they did, or at the very least offer more of them to those who have an interest. I swear, if I win the lottery over the weekend, that boat will be mine and on it's way to Massachusetts........COME ON GUYS, I know over the years, we have heard from guys looking to buy a boat, WELL, HERE IS YOUR CHANCE. WILL, can you buy this for me, and I will pay you $25.00 a month for 50 years................

Frank,
I know what you're thinking. But you're pushing your friendship with Stan too far to ask him to take on this project for you! :-)
Jerry, you and the boys up for another restoration project?
Seriously, there are so few examples of this boat remaining it should go to a museum with resources to bring her back.

Dave, LOL. I think Stan would just about Kill me..... You are right, a Museum with the proper resources would be a good bet, but one that is close by. I would love to see the CITY of BAYONNE get the boat. After all, the boat was made in that City, and would be a wonderful piece of History for future generations. The price is a steal for that boat, provided the Hull is Coast Guard Approved, which I think would not be a problem........

I just spotted the sale. Hey, for that price, I do not blame anyone who loves PT BOATS for buying this Honey. I hope we might find out who the buyer is, and I sure hope it was someone close by...........

$150,000.00 was a good price + the hull is sound and runs even if does have Detroit Diesels. Just hope it went to the right buyer.
