My wife and I were inthe 44 hurricane that hit the New England coast in 44.I rode a Ron 4 boat tied up aft of a destroyer that night.The storm blew the sea wall on the road from Melville to Fall River.Outa here. John Sullivan a 107 deck hand on the 107 in the Solomons.

John, that must have been some night. I heard the 1944 Hurricane was very intense. Must have been a real roller coaster ride on a PT BOAT. Would love to hear more about that, thans for sharing John............
