Victor,
I have newer photos of my Oyster Bay diorama with 7 boats, instead of just four like the earlier photos that I submitted, to you.
Some are black and white, enhanced like these........
(I realize that it may be too, late for the publisher.)
More pics here........

Each time I see this, I find something else to look at. Such an incredible piece of work, the photos make it seem so real. A TRUE MASTERPIECE..........

I unintentionally fooled the guy at Navsource.org when I sent photos of my USS Absecon AVP-23, to him, to show how I had to reposition the cranes after seeing new photos of the real ship while launching Kingfishers. He mistook the photos of my model as some of the real ship and posted them, as such.
I then informed him of the nature of the photos and he like them, enough, to post them alongside the photos of the real ship, in a separate section on the web page.

I've sent him pics of the USS Oyster Bay, now.

I just received a cancellation of my order for Victor's NEW book (American Pt Boats in World War II] book from Barnes & Noble. The book is due out for shipping in mid-December however it has now been order 60-days since I placed my order with Barnes & Noble so they (legally] had to cancel the order. B&N is not listing the new book at all now (what the heck!, B&N is twisted here). HOWEVER you can still get the book at pre-release discount price on Amazon however (which is what I am doing now)!

I received the same notice from B&N almost three weeks ago. Not happy.

Someone told me that Barnes & Noble canceled his pre-publication order using credit card.
Anyone else encounter similar problem?

I had placed two orders, one as gift, and both came back today as cancelled. I will not do business with Barnes and Noble for the book, but will put in my order with Amazon. I will not however pre order. I will wait until the book actually comes out in print.
