Who can tell me what area aboard ship would be referred to as: "G.S.K." It seems like it might have been some kind of ship's laundry because it references a fire having started in some athletic clothing there.

This was the GENERAL STORE KEEPING area of the ship. Same place as the PT BOAT BASES had. They could keep dry goods in here, canned goods, clothing, just about anything that would sustain the men for periods of time.
