I recieved an E-Mail telling me to check out the History Channel and the segment called "Last of the Tin Can Warriors". I understand it contains PT Operations in Leyte Gulf area. I have not seen this, but will check it out when I have time...........

Sorry guys, this was all the information I got. Sounds like he might have meant "Last of the Tin Can Sailors", but I E-Mailed him back and he was pretty sure it was "Last of the Tin Can Warriors". I could not find it on the site as well............

Hi guys,
The description of the DVD that Gary posted: "Last of the Tin Can Sailors" is about the Battle off Samar and it probably includes info about the Battle of Surigao Straights which took place just prior and involved PT Boats. These occurred in the Phillipines so it is plausible that is what the gentleman was referring to and just got the name mixed up?
Just a thought. Jerry
