Al;
I found some more today. the link is : http://navyworld.narod.ru/MAS.htm
down side is the site is in Russian, but they have alot of photos;
This was labeled as : 77' ELCO EX PT 57 HM MTB 315 GIS 0020 MA 1056 1965. however, it looks more like a 63' BPB ASR boat.
EX PT 88 GI/ MS842 1951-1953 then was redesignated as MS 443 from
1953-1985
EX PT90 as GIS/MS843 THEN redesignatred as MS443 UNTIL1979
EX PT90 as MS443 1954.
EX PT 90 as MS443 at TARANTO 1965
EX PT 94 as MS444 1954
The best photo for last EX PT210 as MS452 underway 1974.....beautiful shot!
Enjoy!
Take care,
TED

Yup, that's definitely a 63' BPB HSL. Tony Holtham's RAF MARINE CRAFT states that a number of these were transferred to the Italian Air Force post-WWII: HSL 133, 171, 175, 179, 2546. I'll ask my Italian friend if he can track it down for us.
Great Russian site!

Al & Ted,
My Dad would have been blown away to see how long the ex-210 was around, I know I am. Thanks for your efforts.

My Italian friend wrote that 1056 was one of two boats based at Rimini until about 1968. He's looking for her RAF pennant number.
