That is very interesting, maybe her remains are still there, too bad the current state of the area isn't a little more tourist friendly.

Ted,
I agree, and all going well I may one day get to follow the old WW11 road and do a little exploring as I like to do.
By the way how is the PT 48 restoration going have not heard about her lately. As a 77' boat she holds a special interest for me as you can tell !
Any news would be welcome.

The News on PT-48 is not good News, as nothing is being done at this point. I would suggest that money is a very large issue here, but thankfully the boat is covered and protected. No work has been planned for 2011 that I know of..................
