Is there anyone out there who knows anything about PT boat 333?
My father was the captain and I was just wondering if there are any pictures or stories about it. My Dad is no longer here and he would never talk about it when he was alive. I have no pictures or info of any kind other than a very interesting knife collection from the Phillipines.
Thanks a lot,
Ann

Ann:
PT 333 served with Squadron 24, and was assigned to the Southwest Pacific area. The Squadron was based in places like Dreger Harbor, Saidor, and Amsterdam Island in New Guinea, and at Mindoro, Zamboanga, Pollac Harbor, Sarangani Bay, and Davao Gulf in the Philippines.
I could not find much in the way of any other information on the boat itself, but will keep searching for you. I am sure once others will read your post they too will offer assistance. Mr. Will Day many times will have a photo of the boat as well.

Ann: I do indeed have a picture of the 333 boat and a couple of miscellaneous shots of the crew. Send me your E-mail address and I'll copy them to you.

My Dad also served onboard PT-333 as a gunners mate. Before he passed away in 2000, he told me a few stories about PT-333 and the war. I'll try and post a few stories soon. Do you by chance have any photos of PT-333 and the crew?
