These are version II of the 'tea bag' life jackets first seen in post by Frank Andruss being used in his current diorama. These version II's were made to 1/30 scale whereas the ones I made for Frank were closer to 1/35th. The pattern is scalable so they will be able to used for most any scale model.
Version II is a slight alteration of the previous pattern to allow attaching of the jacket's body closer to the tip of the collar ends...which was noted in the previous post and recommendation and confirmed by Frank after he dragged one out of his treasure chest of PT memorabilia (thanks for doing that Frank!)
I call these 'tea bag' life jackets now as, except for the collar (which is made of round styrene), the jacket's body, stuffing and waist, chest and collars ties are made from materials found in a tea bag. I was able to make 4 life jackets per tea bag (and it doesn't matter if they are regular or decaf).
Comments, questions and especially informative and critical critiques are welcomed of course.
NOTE: In these photos the collar lanyards are loosely tied and not yet trimmed to proper length. It was easier to make them overly long for tying purposes to the grab rails given my broad finger tips. After I'm satisfied with their look and location on the boat I'll tighten the knot and trim them]
I used links this time as my photos come out huge due on the POST message board due to their resolution.

The second round of the LIFE JACKETS look wonderful. They really add a great deal to the over-all appearance of the boat.............
