Awesome, simply awesome. One of the best War Films of all time, ok ok, but it is right up at the top in my opinion............

Wow!!!! I see something new everytime I watch this, 23 seconds into the trailer you can see what looks like 3 motars mounted between the torpedo tubes. Is this how they simulated the expolsions in the water??

I believe the mortars are for the sky explosions.
The water explosions are charges in the water. If you look closely, you can see the top of the charge (a little black dot, looks like a ball) on the water just before the explosions.
