During one of my many PT internet searches, I chanced upon this gentllemans name:Rob McCarthy.
Evidently he was trying to build a "new" boat. Does any one know the demise of this boat and or the builder?

Thank you,

He has a Yahoo Group site with pictures of the project: Rob_Pt_Boat. No activity in a couple of years, though.

I guess that was the plan. I've e-mailed him; we'll see if there is a response.

It would be interesting to find out what happened to it all.

Rob,
I came across your name in reference to you building a PT boat and was curious as to what ever happened to the project.

I have indeed got a keel and frameing started for a 103 series boat out side of stockton . I had to re-engineer the lumber dimensions to meet current safety standard as set by Loyds registry of shipping. As of january when I last talked to Bob Fryar the caretaker on the property where I was building the carcase is still there and in good shape. I f youneed anymore details or would like to take over the project let me know.I would rather give it to somebody to finish or continue than see it rot by the riverside.
