Greetings,
On Thursday I completed this model after attaching the cradle to the hull and then to the laser etched base I made for her. I took more photos and used a software product called Helicon Focus which takes multiple photos focused in segments from closest to furthest and automatically assembles them into a single all in focus photo. It's an amazing piece of software. I also showed her off at our ship club meeting today where my friends Jerry and Denny made fun of me in a good natured way. Anyway, here are the final reveal photos...

Check out the dials on the instrument panel

David,

An insanely nice build. How did you determine that there should be a canvas spray cover on the after 50 cal mount?

Thanks Bill,
This photo of the 109 indicates that the canvas spray shield is in place. Also the photo that we believe to be the 109 next to a 77' Elco has the spray sheild in place. Good question.

I love it. The base is really cool. Don't you think this model would look good in my Exhibit. I better not say that too loud, Will Day will yell at me and tell everyone I will be at your door step waiting.............

Very very nice David, and I like the way the b&w image came out. The base is perfect for the boat, highly detailed without taking away from the model.

David,

I hate to admit how many times in the last forty years I have seen that photograph. Regardless, I had never noticed the convas shield before. Good eye, I would have missed that detail.
