We have a running engine in a boat that needs a good mechanic to give us a opinion on the condition of it.
It is located in Clayton, New York.
Reasonable expenses will be covered.

Hi Richard,
You may want to contact either Captain Tom Whyte or owner Rob Ianucci over at Fleet Obsolete PT728 over in Kingston, NY. They are trying to restore several PT Boats over there and most likely have a mechanic who knows about these engines. By the way are you planning on selling this engine? We have 3 running V12 Packard marine gasoline engines inside PT658 here in Portland OR. As a result we have several mechanics who have a lot of experience with these magnificent engines. There is also a group in New Orleans who are restoring a PT Boat and have a good mechanic working with them. Contact Tom Czekanski at the WW2 Museum there. Good luck!
