Hello everyone-

For those of you who live in or on the Florida's First Coast, mainly north east Florida and also those in south Georgia, there is a fantastic Memorial Day weekend show this coming Saturday and Sunday at Fort Clinch State Park in Nassau County Floriad. It is being billed as "A Salute to the World War Ii Soldier's Show and Exhibit". Here are the details -

WHAT- The 'Salute to the WW II Soldier's Show and Exhibit"
WHERE- Fort Clinch State Park, Atlantic Ave., Fernandina Beach Florida
WHEN- Memorial Day Weekend- Saturday May 29, 2010 & Sunday May 30, 2010
TIMES- Saturday May 29 - 9 AM-5 PM & Sunday May 30 9 AM-3 PM
COST OF ADMISSION- $5.00 per carload to enter the park
$2.00 per person to enter the fort- Kids 6 and under are free
Details- Living history military WW II re-enactors from Allied and Axis powers, equipment, weapons, uniforms, camps, patches, vehicles, scale model displays and dioramas, and "blank" firing of the actual weapons used in both European and South Pacific areas of operations.

I will be there as an exhibitor with my Tulagi RON-10 PT boat base diorama along with other members of my model club. This will be my eight year as an exhibitor. It's a great show of patriotic spirit for our WW II veterans, families and friends.

If you would like to attend and need additional information e-mail me at-

Frank,

Show them the history with your work. Someone will see your diorama and be inspired to do the same..and be on this Board!

To Frankie A. & the Brigde-

Thanks for the kind words guys. As always, I'll give it my all and do the best I can do with what I have displayed before them.

I just love to watch the old Navy veterans and the young kids eyes "pop" when they first take in the display. The old vets "always" have a story to tell and I'm always "all ears", and as for the kids, well they always have a question to ask!

I alway instruct the parents of the youngsters to enbrace their kids passion for getting started in building scale models. I always remind them-

"It's so much more than just a model- it's a piece of history!'
