I finished going through the ELCO 80 drawings on Dick's first DVD and thought others might find the rough sorted list I came up with handy. If you come across a sorting mistake please post here.

Jeff - phenomenal of course!!

If you have this in a spreadsheet could you send it to me so I can add a few of notes and I return back you.

Dick might want to include this [ever evolving] index in a notes file (i.e. index of drawings) with the DVD and/or include a link to your the index on Jeff's website. Just a thought.

I've been called a lot of words Al but never those two. Thanks!

Sorry Bridge, I don't have the list in spreadsheet format. I do plan on refining headings to more closely match drawing titles as I work on different areas of my project.

Thanks Denny, but it's more like that rare kid that writes a thank you letter after opening Christmas presents. Ol' Saint Dick is the one to thank, his effort and substantial cash layout brought us this wonderful resource!

Jeff

You are of course correct. The absolute treasure trove that is on the DVD is beyond what I ever imagined I would ever see in my lifetime.

The work you have done is comparable to a librarian who tells us how to find what we need in the library that the curator "Dick" gathered for us.

Dick

I do thank you so very much for the work and effort that went into providing the DVD for everyone. It is truly a marvel of information and data that I am sure was destined to be lost forever if you had not taken it to heart to have it scanned and saved for the future generations.

I am , I am ashamed to say, one of those who usually had to be made to send thank you cards after Christmas. After I received my DVD and Calender from you and the Poster I ordered from PT Boats I admit that I have been lost in the drawings and the details provided by them all.

I do want to say thank you Dick for all that I have seen you that you do that is helping to not only keep the information flowing freely but the respect and honor for the men who were there.

In a short period time the combination of the DVD of ELCO blueprints and Jeff's index are an unbelievable combination with which to do research and to 'point' out references and features to others (who also have the DVD/Index).

For myself the exchange of details by noting certain ELCO drawings has become essential.

For EVERYONE serious about future, on-going research and PT configuration discussions on this board this pairing is a must.
