Hello Gang

I had a very nice visit with Stan Pienkowski today. Our PT-108/Submarine project is really taking shape.

As I was there Stan had put the tarp on the life-raft, added the 37mm photo-etched cannon on the bow, put the straps on the tarp, added Alex Johnson's wonderful SO RADAR, Single 50 mount on the bow, and the 20mm on the stern. The boat has been painted and IFF Antenna added. Stan even made the newly designed base (dry run) complete with blue paper before I had gotten there.

Sorry if the photo's are not that great, but I never pretended to be a pro camera guy. The sub is coming out great, as Stan also painted the black wavy design on the Sub. I think the project is coming out great. I hope Earl Richmond likes what he sees thus far. MORE TO COME . . .

Frank

I was reminded about the Search-light as I forgot to telll Stan about the position. It will be removed and added onto the inside bulkhead of the Helm. Shutters will also be added as this was on Earl's boat. The spray shield will also be added to the port gun tub.............
