Hello everyone-

I was just wondering while I was looking at all of the squad(RON) patches if someone, anyone can artisticly reproduce all of the patches into a decal or stick on sticker. I think they would be really neat displayed on the back of a car or truck window.

I know its a lot of work to reproduce these patches to a decal and I for one would be very interested in purchasing these stickers! I can bet there are a lot of others reading this that feel the same way I do.

What do you guys think of this suggestion? Somebody had to do the artwork for the patches, correct?? They can be sold right next to the patches from PT HQ's.

Anybody willing to do this??

If you want a sticker for your vehicle, just copy the Sqaudron patch or picture of it to the printer, then laminate it and put two-sided tape on which ever side you want. Bill Manley

A year too late! At the ad agency I work for we have a Gerber(sticker) machine that we use to make stickers. It's a rather old machine, but still capable & we have all kinds of base material to print on from clear, to silver, white & even UV(great for car windows, because it won't fade). Over the years we had also amassed a huge selection of foil colors(foils are the material that is transferred to the sticker base much like ink in an ink jet printer is applied to paper, but foils are dry film in cassettes & are transferred via heat. Any way about a year ago the computer that the machine was hooked up to, had internal issues & after looking at how much the Gerber actually got used, it was decided to pack it away & put it in long term storage(probably never to be seen again). It would take a lot of time, to recreate each squadron's emblem into a digital file worthy of making a sticker out of, but it could be done. I'd have to agree that copying one & laminating it would be the most cost effective & easiest way to do it. You won't get that sticker/decal look, but it'd still be pretty cool. If the sticker is going to be outside, spend a few bucks at Hobby Lobby & buy a can of UV clear coat (fixative). Spray the image before you laminate it & you'll be amazed at how long it'll last in the bright sun.
Great idea though!

Hello Blake-

Thanks for the info! I guess I'll have to try your method Blake and see what happens. I know its a lot of work to come up with the artwork for all the squuard(RONS) but it was worth a shot in posting it anyways. I let you know how my decal come sout.

UH, Ted, I hate to clue you, BUT we are all NOT artists on the board here. I just thought that perhaps someone would like to have a decal on the back window of his or her vehicle is all.
