Photo was taken in June of 1944. Skipper of PT-156 during this time period is Rex Anderson. After the 157 model article appeared in the fall 1993 Newsletter I was contacted by Rex who explained that he was a skipper trainee on PT-157 in February 1944 before assuming command of PT-156. and provided the above picture. Rex Anderson writes the following on the back of the above photo.

Thanks Bridge!

I believe that in the past I've posted asking for any information about the 156
boat but I'll happily do it again. There seems to be very little in the records about
that boat, especially up to early '44.
