When we were doing our 2 year research in the Pacific for PT Boats and bases, we laid two wreaths, one at Honolulu Memorial Cemetery and at the Manila American Cemetery for all those personnel onthe PT Boats, Tenders and Bases that are buried their and by the Tablets of the Missing. I hope you approve what we did. We Don't want them to be forgotten. I am making up a list of those buried in these cemeteries and also the ones in Europe. I hope I explained it right. Thanks to all that served.

That is so nice of you! How considerate... and appreciated by many. The Manila Cemetary is where my uncle was buried until 1948 when his body was returned to the United States for burial near to his parents, here in Pgh PA.
Thanks so much for remembering all who gave their all.

We have never communicated Mr. Manly as you were on your excursion when I became aware of this forum.
I would like to thank you for your respect of those left behind with the placing of the wreaths.
I was never in the military and would probably be considered part of a generation that disrespected it. I for one have never disrespected any member of our armed forces and have only the highest feelings for those who have been willing to give everything they have to protect our nations interest wherever that might be.
I am only a modeler who is very interested in keeping the memories of the bravories and hardships of those men and women alive for those who sometimes don't have the brains to know how blessed they are to have the freedoms they have because someone else went out there and stood in the way of evil coming their way.
Sorry, I better get off my soap box.
Anyway, Thank You Sir for your signs of respect and gratitude.
