the website is www.PT-157.com ....
I am near completion on my model of the PT-157. I had a ton of photos I took during its construction (I've also put together a book chronically that) and some of the pages from the book are posted on this website. Most everything on the deck is scratch-built (torp tubes, bridge, turret interiors, 50-cal BMGs) plus the under water exhaust mufflers. The mufflers were the last thing to be completed and only because of Dick Washichek's very recent find of the original ELCO blueprints in the US archives and now making them available to all of us on DVD.
I hope you can enjoy this and I hope the vets that served on these 'expendables' can see we are keeping the flame alive!
Just a few remaining bits to go on this and she'll be done. What next, I don't know.

That's great work Bridge. And a beautiful model.
On you links page you have one for Dicks drawings, but the link doesn't work! Can you supply the correct link for Dick W.??
Thanks,

That sure is a wonderful model. It would look very nice in The Mosquito Fleet Exhibit. I better not say that too loud, Will Day and Ed Behney will yell at me saying I will be at your door step..........

Thanks for the comments.
I'm working on getting the ammo belts in place on the turrets. I also want to take some videos (at water level) of it running just like you were in the next boat or on a dock. That's what I like about this model is it keen detail AND that it really runs and does so true like original. Doing it on a lake with like wind for a light chop recreates the ocean effect very nicely.
I'm on the west coast so getting something like this to the east coast (and back) would be difficult without likely incurring some damage. It certainly can't be just shipped and would need to be hand carried in a create in some fashion.
