I THINK IT MIGHT BE INTERESTING,ESPECIALLY TO THE "SPLINTER GROUP" TO HAVE INDIVIDUALS POST THE DETAILS OF THEIR DIFFERENT RATINGS ,DETAILED DUTIES AND SECONDARY ASSIGNMENTS ABOARD THE PT BOATS.WE HEAR ABOUT THE MAKEUP OF THE BOATS BUT NOT TOO MUCH ABOUT THE MEN WHO OPERATE THEM.THIS INCLUDES THE ENLISTED MEN AND THE OFFICERS.JUST MY OPINION.

A great big thank you and salute to all you sailors who have taken the time to write down your experiences in running those great little boats. Those of us who never had the chance to ride one appreciate your helping our minds visualize in some ways what it was like. From the mundane to the heroic, no detail is too insignificant. Keep on writing...it is wonderful.
