Hi,
Anyone have any stories or pictures about MTB Squad 1, advanced base 5, Phillippine Islands. My father inlaw Oscar Hanson USN was stationed there. He was a pharmacist. Any history would be greatly appreciated. Any hints on where to look would be helpful. Thanks, Maggie |

Hi, Maggie: Advanced Base 5 was located at Binatac Point in San Pedro Bay on the island of Leyte. I have one picture with some unidentified base personnel in it; send me your e-mail address and I'll forward you a copy.

May I also have a copy of this one as my Father was at that base too for a brief period.
