Hi. I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone had any information on PT 84 which was nicknamed "The Peacock Lounge", or possibly a picture of this boat? Also, any information about Joseph Sheehan who I believe skippered this boat at one time. I have his deck jacket and would love some extra information to go with it. Thank you. This is a very interesting and informative message board. -Ron

I have half a dozen pics of PEACOCK LOUNGE, including several uncaptioned crew pics. What is your e-mail address?

Lt. (jg) Joseph Sheehan and the 84 boat are mentioned on page 272 of AT CLOSE QUARTERS, the "bible" of PT ops, during the Aleutians campaign.

To All PT Boaters,
My dad Joseph Bernstein was a motor mac on PT84 known as the " Peacock Lounge ". My dad sadly passed away over 7 years ago but had taken many pictures he took while on the boat as well as having some from Navy training pictures to capture these memories forever. I wanted to share these pictures with the many sailors who bravely served on this boat,as well as, all other WW2 PT Boats.. If anybody can help identify some of the other PT84 crew members ( I know a few names already) on the boat , I would be very interested in discussing this further with them . I understand the last official PT boater reunion is coming up in a few weeks and I know my dad who attended several reunions over the years would have loved to be there as well . Thank you for serving our country.. Best wishes ,
Larry Bernstein
