Hi,
Maybe someone could help me out, I bought a Pt boat uniform and wanted to find which pt boat he serve on. His name was John W. Pohl he was a 2nd class M.O. Machinist's Mate. Any help would be appreciated.

I have Mr. Pohl in my records as having served with Squadron 4 and Squadron 37. He served on PT-544 and was USNR. He died on 2=09-02. This is all I have on him, so I hope this helps.......

That does help, I plan on sending to St. Louis to see if they can give me any other info. I have his uniform, does anyone want to see it, if I know how to post pictures?

I would like to see a photo of the uniform. My father was a motor mac 2C but I have never seen a photo of him in uniform.

Here's a link to another forum where I posted it. I post the pictures from my computer and this site don't let you do that. There are two uniforms posted, but the second one is the pt boat uniform. Someone actually told me to come here.

Jason: I have an uncaptioned crew photo of 544 members and a couple of indistinct shots of the boat taken from a magazine-sized paperbook called MOTOR TORPEDO BOAT SQUADRON 37 USN (which might be available from the Ship's Store here, I'm not sure). If you'd like a copy of the crew photo, post your e-mail address.
