Here are some nice shots of the Quonset Hut Stan Pienkowski is making for the 374 Build. This has a floor installed as this will be possible Machine Shop. It will be painted Green and weathered for that Pacific look. Wonder if we should add the Seagull Poop . . . .

Stan;
I love the bar code on the balsa! Just Kidding!!! GREAT JOB!!! But you know, everything going to the "zone" today really does have a bar code....even weapons!
Take care,

Very nice, great detail on the arches. What size Quopnset is this supposed to be?
Also, don't want to be too nit-pciky but depending which Quonset style, and time frame, the grooves (or corregation) of the outside panel may need to run parallel to the ground instead of perpendicular.

Hi Charlie
This is a 1/35 scale Quonset Hut and like you I had some questions about the way the panels were running. In checking my many photos of Quonset Huts in the Pacific, they were thrown together both ways running Verticle and Parallel. As Stan had already finished 75% of the work, we decided to keep it the way it was, because stripping off the panels would be a night-mare. Good eye though Charlie. Hope your book is making its final run to completion..........

Agreed.
Yes, the book is coming along. I think (hope) I'm in the final editing stages of the text part. Now it's time to start whittling down the pictures to the ones I think I'll be using and writing the captions. Trying to get it "complete" by the end of the year.
