I recently joined, am researching my father's experience as a PT skipper.
He was Thomas E. Falvey (died in 1978). On receiving the May 2006 ALL HANDS, I recognized him in a picture on p. 29, of the officers at Vella LaVella. He is #19 in the front row. Would love to get a copy of that picture - how might I do that?

I also have a few pix from my dad's war journal - don't know how to have them published, but would be glad to if others might like them. He was on PT170 in the Solomons during 1943-44, then on a large tug at the end of the war in mopping up operations in Tokyo Harbor. He also did some instructing at MTBSTC (44/45) and apparently wrote some PT training manuals that I have yet to track down. If anyone has info, would love to hear from you. I can be reached at je.falvey@unh.edu.

Every Veteran's Day I think of him - especially as he died on that day - and am reminded of how much we all owe to you PT crews. Thank you!
