hey C J i sat on top the day room and used my carbine or 30 m1 for the flying fish thing.sort of surprised you when they came out of the water so fast.
did you do the washing clothes thing too.tie a line on them and thriow them into the rooster tail to wash them.had to get them out of the water though before the en gines throttled down so they wouldn,t get caught in the screws.had one guy do that and the other end of the line was tied to a bucket.he didn,t know it. the line was between his legs.the line slid thru his hands and the bucket caught him in the A.took him right off the stern.he was lucky that someone saw him take off right away and we were able to go back for him.think he was confined to the boat as punishment for leaving the it without permission.good thing he had his life jacket on.
