I had the chance to stop at Stan Pienkowski's house this Sunday to get a look at the finished Crane Project. I was very pleased with the result. Enclosed are the final photos of the project, which I hope you will enjoy. They did not come out as well as I would have liked, but again I am no photographer. Hope you guys liked the updates and being able to follow the project.

Wow! Frank it is fantastic! Hey I was wondering, I cant see from your photos, did Stan put a little guy inside the Crane Operators Booth? I was thinking it would be pretty cool to put a figure that looks similar to you in the operators booth. Sort of like you would be having a Cameo appearance in your own model! Just a thought. PS We will be putting PT 658 back in the water this Weds, we have temporarily repaired the leak in the hull. I will include photos if I can! Jerry

There already is an Elco worker inside the Crane-House. Stan already made it to look like him. He wanted a Polish Crane Operator in there, so I was out-voted. Great News on the boat going back into he water, please do post something................

Hello Frank A.
What a fantastic piece of craftsmanship from Stan on the ELCO crane project. I have been following this project since you first thought of it here on the message board, as I am sure others have also. The true test of a modelers skill is when someone sees a picture of the finished project and that person asks himself, "Is that real or a model?" If you can't tell the difference, the modeler is dead on!
Frank you really need to send an article on Stan's ELCO crane to Fine Scale Modeler! I know you asked for a contact for them here on the board. Go to - FINESCALEMODELER.COM
There will be a contact us link that should give you everything you need for sending in the article. Great job guys. Outstanding work!

Hey Frank
The way I heard it, Stan did want to put a figure of you in the booth, but it just wouldn't fit!
Just kidding. Wonderful job.
