Can anyone tell me where you can order the newest parts for the 1/35 scale Italeri boat. I think they were put out by Royal Models but not sure. I remember seeing a dock, Torpedo Crane, and other neat pieces. I would like to purchase a few things at a time for my next project, after the Crane Project is done of course.....................

Frank,
The parts you are thinking of are from Royal Models in Italy - Dave Waples and I were working with Roberto Reale of Royal during the time he was developing his sets and we posted some beautiful photos in the forum earlier this year. The site www.royalmodel.com in in Italian and I did find the Dock and other accessory set under Diorama and the figures of course under figures - I just sent Roberto an email asking where in the site to look for the Elco Parts, 40mm Borors, Torpedo Crane and generator sets. The stuff we purchased from his was beautiful and it really complemented the other conversion sets out there. I will post more as soon as I hear from Roberto which should be in the next couple days. Email me at jgbeas@comcast.net and I can send you pictures he has shared with me of all his products for the PR Boat.

In addition to what Jerry has pointed out, U-Models has also created some parts for the 1/35 Italeri kit. You can find their sets at the following site...

I noticed that the depth charges and racks are back in stock. I wasn't sure we would see those again.

Thanks Guys very much. I think these items are wonderful and make my mouth water for another project. With my oldest son and his family moved into their new home, I now have tons of room for more things that are PT. Praise the Lord....................

UMOD063 - resin kits under U-model - number 75 as I remember - took a couple of minutes but it is there - they are really nice workmanship and I would recommend getting a couple just to put away for later just in case you can't find them later - I am the master at that - I find it, really like it and figure I'll get it later - have been trying to find a particular A-26K nose from Paragon for 4-5 years now - should have gotten it the FIRST time I saw it - I knew that second I wanted it, no NEEDED it and decided to wait

Sept. issue of FineScale Modeler has some ads for 1/35 quad .50 mounts (all army, but they would convert)...
