Hello guys, can anyone tell me who the officer is in this photo. I am almost positive the girl is singer Patty Page form the Bob Hope Show. Thanks for your help. . . . . . .

Frank: The girl is Patty Thomas a scantily clad dancer with the Bob Hope show. She was a former model with Esquire magazine. The show played at Green Island P.T. Base (Mosquito Bowl) July 1, 1944 in the late afternoon. The troop included Hope, Jerry Colona (comedian), Francis Langford (singer), Patty Thomas (dancer) and a guitar player named Romero. This is a Ron 19 boat and I believe the 237. They had the honor of picking the troop up at the fuel dock at the airport and bringing them across the bay to the P.T. Base. I recall it started to rain when Langford was singing one of her songs, she stopped and asked "what do you do when it rains". The guys all said "GET WET". We sat in the rain and watched the rest of the show. There was a tarp over the stage. I am not certain who the officer is but think it is Ensign Small the Exec. on the 237.
All the boats tied up at the dock so everyone that wanted to go to the show could go.
