Hi thre.
What type of WW2 PT boat was/is PT-728? I looked on your site but I don't recognize the type from the photos. I think it is a type other than a Higgins or Elco. Am I correct?
Thanks, cheers and good luck from Peter

If I can manage it, I will be there with my oldest Son to check things out. Look forward to meeting everyone.

It's a 71 foot Vosper that was rebuilt to look like an 80 foot Elco.

Hi Garth,
Yes we did meet her. She was on one of our Saturday rides.
She looked like she enjoyed herself on the ride.

Yes, from what we understand, she had a few different lives after she was sold into private hands. As Frank stated, she was given an ELCO style deck when she was rebuilt into a PT boat (1970's I believe).
