It's looking terrific. Great modeling work. I'm excited to see it too!

Jeff, the diorama is being done in 1/72 scale and the original Crane stood some 60 feet in the air. I think its roughly 14 inches in height. The base will have the concrete roadways installed along with the gravel edges. An 8 foot chain link fence will be added to the right of the Crane along with shipping crates, barells, and other items which would have been in the area. I can't wait to see the Crane when it has been strung with the cable, and the PT Boat all made up to look like PT 105. I get excited just talking about it. This just might be my favorite project that Stan has built for me. Can you imagine if we added Building 21 to the project.

Thanks Frank, it will be awesome when done. The building front would be great with the company logo, and maybe the tow vehicle. It would have to be considerably larger though... got a spare bedroom you're not using?

I know thats the problem. Had I had a permanant home for my Exhibit, I might have had Stan make the whole front of the Elco Naval Division, but like you said, you mght need a whole room to fit it into. As it stands now, I have no more room at the moment. Oh well, I never worry about that stuff, if I want it built, I will find a way to fit it in.. Garth understands this, he must be out of room as well.

Hello Gang

Seems that Stan has completed a tremendous amount of work on the Crane since my last post. I will be heading over to his home on Saturday morning with Camera in hand to take more pictures. Will post them for you to see when I get home.
