It was waiting for me when I got home from work this afternoon. I haven't read it yet, but have looked through it a number of times. Bottom line, I think this is the most significant book on PTs in decades!! I'm just delighted to have it. Ya done gud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A nit pick - there is no PT-200 sub-class. Boats in this group began with 197.
I have one major gripe, and that is that the publisher did you a great disservice with the printing. The reproduction on most of the photos is muddy and often contrasty. I've seen a number of these photos on both your site and as actual photographic prints, and I know how good most of them were. Your photo selection was outstanding and illustrated the construction process in great, seldom-seen detail. The publisher dropped the ball...
Thanks again for creating this important work.

Al:
Although I have not seen the book yet, your thoughts and comments are very well appreciated. It means a great deal to me that you and others enjoy the book. As I have not seen the reproduction of the photo's I will keep my comments to myself. Thank You Al for purchasing the Book.

Frank: I read BUILDING THE PT BOATS last night. Good job! A worthy addition to the history of the boats.
