Frank,
Based on my experience, is it better for you to order the books at 40%
or more discount from your publisher, autograph it then sell it at list price or a slight discount yourself to maximize your royalty? Just food for
thought.

Thank you for the advice. You would certainly know more about it than I would, although I would prefer to leave the selling to the publisher. I do not have the money to lay out for purchasing books. Thanks Vic.......

Frank,
I usually have the buyer send me the money first, then email the publisher to ship the book to him direct. This way no money out of your pocket
and most of the selling is still done by the publisher. I usually have five \copies of my book at home just in case. Also bring your book to the
local library. They like books by local authors and willing to pay list
price. Good luck.
