While going through some files I came across a couple of pictures of some Base shots I would like to share with the message board.

Frank . . . .

Thanks a lot, its great that you willingly share your photo archive with all us on this board. The wealth of information that you and others share here is fantastic - and makes this board a real educational tool for a deeper and more complete look at the history known as PT Boats.

Thanks to you and all that share.

Hey Frank, thanks for sharing the pictures, however I can't seem to get them to come up on my msg board. Any tricks to this?

I'm especially interested in those of Tulagi and Mios Woendi.

Thanks,

Just right click on any photo and you should be able to save them.

Hello Mr. Andruss-

Yes, it has been a very long time since I've posted here. I had lost my dang password , I somehow deleted it, so I couldn't get on. I had just found my password in my top desk drawer so here I am again. I still check out the board once or twice a day and the refference material on this site is just, to say the least, remarkable! I have to thank you Frank for this fantastic job you are doing in keeping the history and spirit alive and well on the board.

I just came across this picture of the mechanic's A-frame structure on Tulagi and I am very excited about it. I have modeled this structure on my Tulagi 1/32 scale diorama 13 years ago. The picture that I used as a refference came from Frank Johnsons book on PT's.

In your vast collection of photos Frank, do you have any others from Tulagi that you might want to post here?

I had also read where someone else had some pictures of Tulagi. I do not recall who it was, I need to go back and find the post. But perhaps if that member is reading this , PLEASE, post those pictures of Tulagi for us here to view.

Keep up the good work Frank!

Hello Frank

Nice to have you back on the messag board. I need to go thru my photos to see if I have anything else on Tulagi. I have Base photo's, but most are of Base 17, Mios Woendi, Borneo, Green, and others. Not much on Tulagi but I will look........................
