We had some discussion about drydocks recently. Your first picture is a good view of multiple drydocks. I'm sure you recognized that there are three drydocks moored or anchored together in the foreground. There is at least one and maybe two more in the background and a damaged PT waiting for a berth. The PTs were particularly vulnerable during the Philippine invasion, I think, because we made more daylight patrols. Unlike airplane pilots, PT crews were largely responsible for their boat's maintenance and even a short stint in drydock was usually tough. I appreciated the pictures, thanks!
