Thanks Tim! I posted a reply already t that message board defending the honor of the mighty PT Boats! It seems there are some who think the Nazi S-Boat was far superior to a PT Boat, (and even went so far as to call the PT Boats unseaworthy deathtraps)! Also, by the way, I went up to Seattle and met Adrian Lipp, (to discuss tugboats) he says he knows you and to say Hello. So Hello. Can you update us on PT48? Jerry

Don't know him so you must be confusing me but hello regardless. In regards to the other message board I posted it here hoping others would post in defense of the PT Boat. What really upset me was that they were determining the boats merit based on their construction rather than their war effort and contributions. PT Boats helped win the war in the Pacific. Personally, I would go as far as saying were it not for them the war would have lasted longer because by harassing the supply barges they starved out the enemy forces and enabled the Island Hopping strategy.
