I am trying to find out any information anyone might have on a WWII Seaman named Richard J. Beaulieu, who died while serving on a PT boat in WWII. The only information I have is his name, the service number of 8699750 and that he was from Minnesota. I appreciate any information on this sailor and I would really like to know what boat he served on and his date of death.

G'Day again Jim,
I would rather have emailed you,but you havnt included your address.Ive done a little bit of research for you.Unfortunately i cant find a Date of Death or a Boat Number, however ive included a couple of snippets of information that may be of assistance.
Richard J Beaulieu was from Duluth,MN.His Mothers name was Ann Helen Beaulieu.
Searches of Data Bases reveal he wasnt Interred overseas or at sea,so maybe a search of Duluth Cemetaries might turn up something. Also try Genealogy pages?
This is a link to an entry in the WW2 Memorial Honoree Page,

http://www.wwiimemorial.com/registry/wardept/plaq.asp?honoreeID=1172723

And here is an entry in a list of Minnesota's casualties of WW2,

Im sorry i cant be of more assistance, but good luck,(i know what it is like)
Cheers Mate
