Hi there Frank.
Sorry about thr vagueness of the query. I was at the doctor today for lots of blood work, I am *NOT* doing very well, and I was awake since 0300hrs this AM. In addition to that I had not eaten for many hours as I was not allowed to prior to getting the tests done. I have lots of other test to get done yet too. I just hope I last beyond getting them done and getting the results back.
What I was trying to ask was 'Has anyone seen the *ACTUAL UNASSEMBLED CONTENTS* of the Italeri PT boat crew? I have seen images of the built up figures from the Italeri site and the Nurenburg Toy Fair. I have not seen either a review of the set or images off the *ACTUAL CONTENTS* of the set. It is listed here in town for $38.99 which is a lot of money for just ten or so figures.
Cheers from Peter

Pete
First and yes more important then the figures is your Health. I am in hopes that everything will be ok. We were on Pins and Needles last week for some tests my Wife was going thru. The wait was aweful and very stressful on us. I am happy to say ( thank our Lord) that her results came back negative. Although I do not know what your tests are for, my prayers are with you during this time. God Bless my friend..........

Peter,
Take care of yourself and you will be in our thoughts. I have not seen them personally but I read somewhere in a post that they were a single cast figure and not the multiple piece figures like we are used to - the comment was that they would be harder to work with as they are a single piece - as I say, I haven't seen them but is what I read.

Thanks very much.
That puts to rest the fears and rumours that the figures are one piece.
Here are the four images from the site with two images being the actual parts sprues.

From the standpoint of not having crew members before in this scale, this is a major break thru. I agree that they look a bit too neat, as a matter of fact they look like CAPITAL SHIP Sailors. Why these Companies do not do a better job of research is beyond me. Hey, there are many guys on this message board that can answer questions and provide the real look of a PT BOAT CREWMEN.
I think someone needs to get in touch with the reearch and development Departments of these Companies and provide them photo's and documentation of what the figures should look like. For starters, those Navy Gray Helmets were mostly used on Capital Ships ( although you can paint them whatever color you want). Bring us some guys with ripped shirts, shorts, beards, open toed shoes, Dungarees above the Navy Boondockers, that show the white socks, shirtless men, and other different looks. Oh Well, I could go on and on...........
