Hello Guys and Gals:
I was looking for any information on Lt.(jg) Brenton W. Creelman. All I have is he was killed in Action and was a Skipper of a PT BOAT. I have information that does list him as KIA and winner of the PURPLE HEART, but no RON and NO BOAT. Thanks in advance............

Frank;
Creelman was skipper of PT311 RON 22. he was killed on 18 November 1944 at 0400 311 hit a mine. Creelman and the exec were killed as was 8 crewmembers. 5 crewmembers survived and clung to the bow section. PT 307 and PT 312 picked them up 35 miles west of Leghorn.

Thanks so much. I just met his nephew who has some photographs of the boat after it hit the mine, and crew photos, letters and his purple heart. I am supposed to go over his home soon. I want to provide as much information as I can..............
