[StartQuote] Good Morning Ted - and thank you for your request. Dick Washichek was very helpful getting me lined up yesterday to post photos. I took several photos this AM of the PT 490 Ensign as well as the nameplate for the Little Butch. I will be posting these today. I will also post images of the writing on the back of the nameplate - my father had attended a Bull Session in 1985 in Augusta, Maine (one of several he went to) and he took the time to carefully list the crew members and where he took the nameplate off PT 490 (Samar). I will also post several photos of Varney PT Boat models that I have - and while I recognize that the paint and details may not be to the standards of the experts on the forum, the nice memory I have is that the camouflage model was on his desk at the Department of Defense, where he worked for nearly 30 years after WWII. Yesterday, I went ahead and posted a few photos on the forum that I had readily available on my laptop, including a great one of the 40MM on the fantail. Cheers. PT 490 Splinter[EndQuote]
